Creative Rationale
Over the western Pacific Ocean east of Japan, moderate winds and high humidity create a dynamic maritime atmosphere with significant precipitation. The strong easterly wind at 13.9 m/s translates into a staccato rhythm of many small geometric forms moving diagonally across the composition, while the high pressure creates buoyant shapes that rise and float. The extremely cold temperature of 19.9 K manifests as deep bass circles and thick rectangular forms in blues and blacks, contrasting with sharp red triangular accents that pierce through like high notes in a complex musical score.
