Creative rationale

Over the remote Arctic Ocean north of Siberia, where the Laptev and East Siberian Seas meet in perpetual twilight, the extreme low pressure system creates a heavy, brooding atmosphere. The moderate westerly winds at 9.9 m/s drive color explosions toward the eastern edges of the canvas, while the bitter cold temperature of -5.7°C translates into muted earth tones punctuated by sharp icy blue accents.
