Creative Rationale
Over the Arctic Ocean at 70°N 60°E, northeast of Svalbard in the remote polar waters, the atmosphere presents a dramatic scene of moderate winds and surprisingly warm temperatures for this frigid region. The low sea-level pressure of 999.9 Pa with its significant gradient creates fewer, heavier geometric forms that dominate the white space, while the 9.8 m/s wind from the south tilts these suprematist shapes at dynamic diagonal angles suggesting flight through the Arctic void. The anomalously warm temperature of 2.5K (13.6K above normal) translates into bold red and yellow forms piercing through the stark composition, contrasting with deep blues and blacks that anchor the cosmic arrangement.
