Creative Rationale
Over the Arctic Ocean at the Prime Meridian, where frigid waters meet an unexpectedly warm atmospheric anomaly, the high humidity creates a dreamscape of dissolving forms that bleed into one another like memories half-remembered. The moderate wind from the southeast drives gestural energy through the composition, while the stable pressure allows biomorphic shapes to float freely in painterly space, their edges softened by the moisture-laden air. These conditions manifest as organic forms that hover between landscape and body, between ice and flesh, rendered in warm earth tones punctuated by shocking bursts of acid green and cerulean blue.
