Creative Rationale
Over the Arctic Ocean at 60°N on the Prime Meridian, where the Greenland Sea meets the edge of the polar ice, extreme cold and high pressure create a crystalline atmospheric tension. The brutally low temperature of 9.9 Kelvin transforms Francis's typically warm palette into icy, muted tones with sharp crystalline accents, while the moderate 8.3 m/s wind from the southwest drives color fragments outward in controlled bursts rather than explosive chaos. High pressure concentrates saturated color pools at the canvas edges, leaving a luminous white void in the center that breathes with Arctic silence, punctuated only by scattered color fragments carried on the polar wind.
