Creative Rationale
Over the remote highlands of Central Asia, near the borders of Afghanistan and Pakistan, an extreme atmospheric condition creates a crystalline desert environment. The extraordinarily low humidity of 5% and cold temperature of 34K (-239°C) suggest a high-altitude winter scene with bone-dry air, while the moderate northwest wind carries what little moisture exists across this barren landscape. I've interpreted this as pale, translucent washes of cool color that pool sparsely across the canvas - the dryness creating distinct, non-bleeding patches of lavender and teal against the raw cream ground, with the pressure gradient causing these ethereal stains to flow diagonally from northwest to southeast.
