Creative Rationale
Over the Bay of Bengal east of the Indian subcontinent, where tropical waters meet the intense heat of the landmass, a dry atmospheric condition prevails with no precipitation and low humidity. The relatively high temperature anomaly and moderate westerly winds create an environment of parched luminosity, where color appears more concentrated and opaque rather than fluid and bleeding. This translates into stained pools of warm ochres and salmon pinks that have settled and dried into the canvas, with only subtle bleeds where the low humidity allows minimal color migration, while the westerly wind direction pulls these color fields in gentle eastward drifts across the composition.
