Creative Rationale
Over the Southern Ocean deep in the Antarctic waters at 60 degrees south latitude near the Kerguelen Islands, strong westerly winds and low atmospheric pressure create turbulent conditions in one of Earth's most remote regions. The moderate wind speed of 9.9 m/s translates into a staccato visual rhythm with many dynamic geometric elements, while the low pressure of 986.1 Pa anchors heavy circular forms toward the bottom of the composition. The anomalously warm temperature despite being below freezing inspires a mix of cold deep bass circles with some sharper triangular accents, all moving along the northwest diagonal established by the 310-degree wind direction.
