Creative Rationale
Over the high plateaus of Afghanistan and Pakistan, where thin mountain air creates extremely low pressure, a landscape of organic tension emerges. The moderate positive temperature anomaly and modest humidity levels suggest forms that maintain some structural integrity while still dissolving at their edges, neither fully solid nor completely ethereal. The gentle southwest wind creates subtle gestural movements through the composition, while the absence of precipitation allows underlying earth tones to remain prominent without the dissolving washes that would blur the biomorphic structures.
