Creative Rationale
Over the Sonoran Desert in Arizona, where extreme low pressure and bone-dry air create a landscape of geological and psychological tension. The severe temperature anomaly and persistent northwestern winds manifest as tortured biomorphic forms struggling against desiccation, while the absence of moisture allows sharp, anguished shapes to press against translucent washes of desert earth. The low pressure compresses organic forms into claustrophobic clusters that hover between cactus flesh, human organs, and half-remembered dreams.
