Creative Rationale
Over the high Andes of southern Peru and northern Bolivia, where extreme altitude creates harsh atmospheric conditions with virtually no moisture and bitter cold despite the tropical latitude. The near-zero temperature and bone-dry 15% humidity drive a palette dominated by raw umber and ivory black with aggressive slashes of alizarin crimson, while the gentle wind translates into broader fluid passages rather than violent diagonal cuts. The extremely low pressure creates forms that press aggressively against the picture plane, with thick impasto-like SVG shapes colliding and fragmenting across the mountain landscape.
