Creative Rationale
Over the high Altiplano of Bolivia and Peru, where the thin atmosphere creates extreme conditions at altitude, this weather pattern shows very low pressure with a steep gradient, light winds from the northwest, and notably dry air despite the temperature anomaly. The extremely low pressure reading of 636.6 Pa with its sharp gradient translates into densely packed undulating lines that create intense optical vibration, while the light 1.4 m/s wind generates gentle, wide wave patterns flowing diagonally from northwest to southeast. The significant temperature anomaly and moderate conditions inspire a warm color progression moving through coral, pink, and lavender tones in Riley's systematic style.
