Creative Rationale
Over the subtropical Atlantic between Bermuda and the Caribbean, high pressure creates an expansive breathing space where biomorphic forms drift and float in painterly suspension. The moderate temperature anomaly births forms that are tortured yet lyrical—organic shapes pressing upward through thin atmospheric washes while gentle winds create subtle gestural energy across the canvas. High humidity causes these proto-organisms to bleed and dissolve at their edges, existing in that liminal space between flesh, landscape, and dream that Gorky mastered so hauntingly.
