Creative Rationale

Over the Eastern Mediterranean near the Levantine coast, where desert winds meet ancient seas, extraordinarily cold temperatures clash with dry air in a low-pressure system. The bitter cold (-239°C) transforms my palette toward deep, crystalline blues and purples, while the moderate wind from the northwest drives color bursts diagonally across the canvas. The low pressure creates dense accumulations of saturated color pooling at the edges, with the dry conditions allowing luminous white space to breathe through the center, punctuated by sharp, energetic splatters that echo the atmospheric turbulence.
