Creative rationale

Over the Beaufort Sea in the Canadian Arctic, where extremely low pressure creates a dramatic atmospheric vacuum and bitter cold temperatures far below the regional average. The minimal wind allows color to settle into dense, saturated pools along the canvas edges, while the severe cold shifts the palette toward muted earth tones punctuated by icy blue accents. The low pressure manifests as heavy accumulations of color that seem to be drawn outward by the atmospheric void, leaving a luminous expanse of breathing space in the center.
