Creative rationale

Over the high Altiplano of Bolivia and Peru, where the Andes meet the sky at extraordinary altitude, this atmospheric snapshot captures the thin, cold air and gentle winds of the world's most elevated plateaus. The extremely low pressure reading reflects the high-altitude environment, while the cold temperature anomaly and high humidity suggest the misty, ethereal quality of air at nearly 4,000 meters above sea level. I've interpreted this as a sparse, contemplative procession of delicate marks drifting horizontally across a deep blue-black ground, with cool silvers and stark whites dominating the palette, softened by atmospheric veiling that speaks to the high humidity and the otherworldly quality of this rarified landscape.
