Creative Rationale

Over the Arctic Ocean at 60°N on the Prime Meridian, brutal cold meets moderate winds in a landscape of ice and endless sky. The extreme temperature of -260°C creates a palette of muted earth tones punctuated by icy blue accents, while the 10.4 m/s wind from the southwest drives color energetically toward the northeast edges of the canvas.
