Creative Rationale
Over the Southern Ocean near the Prime Meridian at 60 degrees south, harsh Antarctic winds sweep across storm-churned waters where low pressure systems intensify. The extreme cold temperature anomaly of 22.3K above normal, combined with nearly saturated air and moderate precipitation, creates a dynamic atmospheric tension that I've translated into Francis-inspired explosive color bursts. The strong 11.8 m/s winds drive energetic splatters and color pools toward the canvas edges, while the low pressure of 966.9 Pa manifests as dense accumulations of muted earth tones punctuated by icy blue accents, leaving luminous breathing space in the composition's heart.
