Creative Rationale
Over the Bolivian Altiplano near the border with Chile, where the Andes create extreme high-altitude conditions, the atmospheric data reveals a stark, cold environment with very low pressure and minimal moisture. The extremely low sea-level pressure reading suggests high elevation effects, while the cold temperature anomaly and moderate humidity create conditions for a restrained yet intense composition. Following Sam Francis's aesthetic, I've interpreted this as a controlled explosion of saturated color pools concentrated along the edges, with the gentle wind creating soft directional flows rather than violent splatters, leaving expansive luminous white space in the center to reflect the thin, crystalline air of this high-altitude landscape.
