Over the windswept Patagonian plains of southern Argentina, where the Andes meet the Atlantic steppes, a dramatic atmospheric disturbance unfolds with extremely low pressure and high winds from the northeast. The steep pressure gradient of 45.91 Pa/cell creates dense archaeological layers of paint where each atmospheric shift has left its mark, while the significant temperature anomaly of 17.8°C drives chaotic gestural marks that break through more structured underlying layers. The high humidity of 95% renders these palimpsest layers translucent and ghostly, allowing decades of imagined reworking to show through, while light precipitation adds subtle drip marks that speak to time's passage across this harsh, beautiful landscape.
