Creative Rationale
Over the Arctic Ocean north of eastern Siberia, this remote polar location experiences extreme cold at 14.2 K with very low pressure at 920.7 Pa and high humidity. The gentle wind and light precipitation create a subdued but dynamic atmosphere in one of Earth's most isolated regions. I've interpreted these conditions through Francis's approach with muted, cold-toned color pools gathering at the canvas edges - the low pressure manifests as heavy accumulations of desaturated blues and grays, while the extreme cold dampens saturation throughout, and the modest wind creates gentle, contained splatters rather than explosive gestures, leaving substantial luminous white space in the center.
