Creative Rationale
Over the East China Sea southeast of Japan, this oceanic region experiences moderate atmospheric pressure with a significant gradient, gentle winds from the northeast, and high humidity despite the absence of precipitation. The relatively low pressure (1006.9 Pa) drives heavy accumulations of saturated color pooling at the canvas edges in true Francis fashion, while the moderate 6.9 m/s wind creates energetic splatters and gestural marks radiating outward from these color fields. The high humidity of 77% adds a sense of atmospheric density through layered transparencies and soft bleeding effects between color zones, leaving generous luminous white space in the center to breathe.
