Creative Rationale
Over the Arctic Ocean northeast of Svalbard, where frigid waters meet the polar atmosphere, moderate winds and surprisingly warm temperatures for the region create an unstable, dynamic environment. The moderate wind speed of 9.8 m/s translates into a brisk allegro tempo with medium-sized geometric forms in rhythmic motion, while the high pressure system lifts bold circular and triangular shapes toward the upper canvas. The relatively warm temperature anomaly manifests as sharp, angular triangles and thin lines suggesting higher pitch frequencies, all moving along a southwest-to-northeast diagonal following the wind direction from 220 degrees.
