Creative Rationale
Over the high Andes of southern Peru and Bolivia, where the extreme altitude creates an otherworldly atmosphere, the temperature anomaly of 15.2K above normal suggests an intense, almost mystical warmth cutting through the thin mountain air. The low pressure at 636 Pa speaks to the rarefied atmosphere of these peaks, calling for two dominant color bands that fill the canvas with breathing, contemplative weight. The gentle wind and high humidity of 79% create softly vibrating edges between color fields, with the humidity lending an inner luminosity to deep warm tones of burnt sienna and cadmium orange that seem to glow against the mountain twilight.
