Creative rationale

This location sits high in the Bolivian Altiplano or Peruvian Andes, where the extreme altitude creates an otherworldly atmospheric environment. The exceptionally low pressure reading suggests we're above 4,000 meters elevation, while the cold temperature and moderate humidity reflect the thin, crisp mountain air. I've interpreted this as a Francis-inspired composition where sparse, jewel-like color pools cling to the canvas edges, driven by gentle winds, with vast luminous white space dominating the center to echo the expansive high-altitude landscape and low atmospheric density.
