Creative rationale
Over the South Atlantic near 60 degrees south latitude, in the frigid waters approaching Antarctica, an intense low-pressure system churns with strong westerly winds. The extremely cold temperature of -17.4°C, combined with the remarkable 34.5°C positive anomaly suggesting this region is unusually warm for its location, creates a paradox of relative warmth in an absolutely cold environment. This atmospheric tension translates into a composition of two heavy, luminous bands - deep midnight blues and black-greens that seem to glow with internal energy, their edges softly vibrating from the 15.6 m/s winds and made luminous by the 90% humidity that creates an almost supernatural radiance in this remote polar seascape.
