Creative rationale
Over the Caribbean Sea off the coast of Guatemala, an intense atmospheric system creates dramatic conditions with extremely low pressure of 877.8 hPa and a steep gradient of 97.11 hPa/cell, combined with near-saturated air at 99% humidity and significant precipitation of 16.4 kg/m^2. The light northerly wind at 1.2 m/s from 351 degrees and warm temperature of 18.6°C inspire a composition of gentle vertical undulations with tightly packed parallel lines reflecting the intense pressure gradient, rendered in Riley's signature warm color progression from coral through pink to lavender and blue. The minimal wind speed creates slow, wide wave patterns that seem to breathe rather than vibrate, while the high humidity and precipitation add subtle transparency effects between the color bands.
