Creative rationale
Over the western Pacific Ocean northeast of Guam, where warm tropical waters meet dynamic atmospheric flows, this composition interprets the moderate southwest winds and significant temperature anomaly through Richter-inspired layered paint drags. The 5.9 m/s wind from 221 degrees creates diagonal sweeping motions from lower-left to upper-right, while the substantial 11.9°C temperature anomaly above normal drives the revelation of warm underlying colors, deep reds and yellows, beneath cooler grey and green surface layers. The steep pressure gradient of 33.55 hPa/cell translates into multiple overlapping paint layers with varying transparency, creating the complex depth and concealment characteristic of Richter's squeegee technique.
