Creative Rationale
Off the coast of New Zealand's North Island near East Cape, where the Pacific swells meet temperate waters, moderate winds and high humidity create a dynamic atmospheric canvas. The 11.5 m/s winds from the northeast drive energetic color explosions across the composition, while the high pressure system concentrates saturated pools of cadmium red and ultramarine blue at the edges. The warm 22.5°C temperature and near-saturated humidity manifest as vivid, bleeding color fields that seem to pulse with moisture and energy, leaving luminous breathing space in the center where the sea spray catches light.
