Creative Rationale

Over the Southern Ocean at 45 degrees south latitude on the Prime Meridian, powerful westerly winds drive through this remote maritime region where few ever venture. The combination of strong winds from the northwest, high humidity, and low pressure creates an atmosphere of dynamic turbulence and emotional intensity. I've interpreted this through dense clusters of elongated marks that sweep diagonally across a luminous ground, using cooler blues and steely grays to reflect the cold temperature anomaly, while the low pressure manifests as darker passages that allow glimpses of radiant light to emerge between gestural groupings.
