Creative Rationale

Over the high Andes of Peru and Bolivia, where the extreme altitude creates an otherworldly atmosphere of thin air and crystalline cold, the atmospheric data reveals a scene of delicate movement and luminous energy. The exceptionally low pressure at this elevation translates into bold, expansive calligraphic gestures, while the bitter cold temperature drives the composition toward cool blue-black grounds with silvery-white marks that seem to float like breath in the rarified air.
